Looping this. Great job.

I love the feel of this track. It has me freestyle singing. You really kept it dynamic with the different patterns on the piano and levels. 10/10 5/5 Downloaded.

Stay up.

I just noticed this review now, and it made my day, seriously :D

We killed it! :D

Just sent the lyrics to Delinquent. They should be included in the author comments before the end of the night.

Keep the 5's alive! :D

@Deli: Self said "Your verse had two punches". Jsyk brotha.

Also, I learned last round that some people prefer to hear a verse all in one take so that's what I did here for their sake. I honestly don't know how to mute the breaths though, so I don't think it's sounds as good. Recursive breathing ftw! :D

TRIPLE THREAT

Damn Shaggy, you always get me. Every time.

Cynic & MadFlex on this? Shit's gonna be fresh!

Voterbots, roll out!

Is this the energy you were looking for? ;)

Great Loop

I disagree with the reviewer below me though. This is nice and simple and the current state of the trumpets leaves room in the mid range for vocals.
The only thing that bugs me is the clap sounds really generic.
The shaker sounds pro though and the kick meshes with the trumpet superbly.
Great job .

L3CTRIX responds:

Thx man, I try to make the clap sound a lil bit more "wet."

Pathetic

You call this a freestyle? This is like 70 bpm, MAYBE 8 syllables in a bar? Pfft this isn't hard at all. Tell ya boy that he should've been practicing more while he was 'in the pen'. And he wants to kick a battle sometime for funsies, I'm down for a friendly merc'ing session. ;D

Sure, he's better than Ses, but who isn't?

THIS VOTE DOESN'T COUNT

My vote doesn't count so I won't give one.

However, I gotta say that the originality and flips that Ockeroid brought were ill. It's really lame hearing the same disses in every battle (pussy, your mom, your mom's pussy, homo, bitch, blah blah) and Ock definitely brought new material.
Murdaa brought flow, that's for certain. His syncopation in the first verse really threw me for a loop, which I didn't expect, and I gotta give props for that. His verses were also mixed better.
But this isn't a battle to decide who can record/mix/master the best or who has the most expensive microphone, and therefore shouldn't be taken into account.

Criteria / Murdaa / Ockeroid
Style 7 / 8
Flow 8 / 6
Originality 4 / 10
Disses 7 / 9
Flips 5 / 8

Judges, vote away!

OH SHIIIII

WTF MAN WHY YOU GOTTA B HATIN??? CAN'T YOU JUST REACH FOR THE TOP LIKE THE REST OF US??? :'(
lololol

MaoDaMighty responds:

CAPS LOCK OVERLOAD! In some cultures hate is a form of praise... I think.

Amazing

The transitions and dynamics in this track really keeps it interesting. Doesn't even get boring for a second. Just as soon as I think I know what's gonna come next, you totally flip the script! (3:12 is a great example) :D

Great job and good luck in the comp!!

Thanks man.
