WHOA

V1 - Starting out by talking about Datacat was creative but came across as wasted bars and arrogance to me. Maelstrom times infinite was a dope line. Love the "umadbro?" line (memes ftw). Saying your opponent is 6&0 seems more like praise than a diss. Afterwards came with some great multis.

V2 - Starting out Datacat flips I was shocked as always how much MadFLeX can linguistically manipulate a topic, my fav rhyme being "betamax". Love the music theory reference to a couplet. The "family tree.. branch missin" was great, but it reminiscent of a previous battle involving the Great Gatsby. Referencing my sexy tan is always a + :D. Coming back with the math flip was ill. Premature like bulimic vomit made me lol.

V3 - Seemingly unphased RJA3 came back with the kitchen sink, which could be taken as saying that Mad's verse had everything in it, then stayed too long on the topic. "I ain't perfect like yourself" was a dope call out, as was the fitness section/Simmons flip. Could've done more with the Pryor line, but still was good. End with more arrogant self hype.

V3 - The wordiness flip was good. I must have missed the Skyrim reference of an arrow to the knee. A crack in the lithosphere was super unexpected and a dope drop. Friends disappearing like RJA3's jawline was clever. I didn't understand wth the pop the bottle ref was referring to (champagne?). Ending with a call back to "I wouldn't have wanted to go up against me either" blew me away.

Great battle gents and this is definitely a really tough call. RJA3 def has skill near the par of FLeX and more charisma and attitude. FLeX's lines just hit a lot harder imho without wasting space on arrogance filler.

As much as I hate to continue a streak:
MadFLeX ftw.

HDC Champ Scares Off Competition

Damn BTC you merc'd this kid. Clever punches, dope flips and you scared him off! hahaaa Solid battle brah.

Props Bummer

Thanks for gettin at me. Dope concept. I'm honored to drop on a track done by HDC's champ! :P

BummerCityTown responds:

Haha no problem man. I'm honored to have you on there. Kinda of cool how less than a year ago I was no where near worthy of collabing with someone of your status. Elevating all day!

Wyze

Blest has a lot of imagery and wordplay but it's still just a bunch of filler and self hype as usual. Battling isn't mixtaping and eventually he'll learn that.

Wyze's 'boring' ish got a lil old at the end tho. First verse had me lol'ing hella. Vanilla cake/vanilla icing was dope imagery and a good sellback on the boring tip.

HDC responds:

Wyze 3 Blest 2

Dope drop

Who the hell are these other guys tho?

Blasphem-E responds:

Flamez and Badseedz obviously </troll>

Fairly close.

Listened to this 20 or so times trying to decide who won.

V1: Starting out by talking to Red is kinda played out at this point. As usual, a lot of rhyming without really saying a whole lot apart from self hype. Calling him a maverick? Sounds like a compliment to me.

V2: First half has lots of rhymes, seems like you're mimicking Alive's style a bit. Second half picks up and gets good. Fav line: "Your style, your flow, your breath AND your feet stink" lol, that's original.

V3: Abomination flip sounded good and was a good concept, but it's just more self hype. A few more disses in this verse. "Red should've never set you up against a ("vallen"?) Again, more rhyming using your "memorized dictionary" flow, but not making any sense.

V4: Good Youtube flip, going personal with the soundcloud was good too. I like knowing the opponents researched each other.

I'm going to give my vote to dacookup here for being more entertaining.

Damn

It might just be the fact that N1k has held the title for so long, but Bummer sounded OH SO FRESH.

N1k as usual has a few instances where he's rushing syllables here, as well as recycling old material and using disses that don't make sense (BCT doesn't sound like Wayne in the slightest to me).

I've gotta give it to Bummer for the win, but not by much. Both emcees did quite well.

HDC responds:

Klazik didnt get your vote? hahaha

This is what I wait for

I love the smooth flow, great clarity, deep lines... Well done Mao.

MaoDaMighty responds:

Thanks :)

Interesting enough, lyrics were from a time I took things too seriously...

<3 THIS!

MY EARS WEREN'T READY FOR LYRICAL DESTRUCTION

Listening thru, I'll just type up stuff that catches my ear.

mickey: love all the ways you rhymed with og. callin yourself on your issues was reminiscent of 8 mile. sounded dope.

og: GAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAY wtf.... small children as anal beads? eww... mydickyourdickmydickyourdick. this whole verse was fail to me.

mickey: good rebuttal. army diss. 'obvious you a homosexual' jealous/pelvis. 'at least try recovering' lol.

og: some crazy pop culture refs. good use of the dog bark on the beat. 'watchin mouths fizz' kinda sounds like 'maos fizz' and idk how that's a diss but... ok.

Mao for the win, but it's crazy to see how OG is improving so quickly. 'rap phenomenon' is right!

HDC responds:

The rap phenomenon will be too much for us too handle soon.
